Allama Iqbal was a philosopher, poet, and politician in British India who is widely regarded as having inspired the Pakistan Movement. He is known for his poems, which are written primarily in Persian and Urdu, that explore themes of spiritual awakening, the nature of God, and the role of humans in the world. Some of his most famous poems include "Lab Pe Aati Hai Dua Ban Ke Tamanna Meri," "Bashir Badr," and "Asrar-e-Khudi." Here is an example of one of Iqbal's poems, called "Lab Pe Aati Hai Dua Ban Ke Tamanna Meri": Lab Pe Aati Hai Dua Ban Ke Tamanna Meri "A prayer rises to my lips, a desire of my heart Oh God, grant me the strength to endure my sufferings with fortitude And to find happiness in all circumstances Grant me the ability to turn every trial into an opportunity And to see every obstacle as a stepping stone to progress Oh God, let my heart overflow with love for all beings And let my actions be a reflection of Your divine qualities Oh God, guide me on the path of righteousness And grant me the courage to always speak the truth Amen"
